Why has Activision gone against PC Gamers for Modern Warfare 2?
Immensly Excited for Modern Warfare 2 to come out but then i hear of the news of Activision changing the way servers are on PC and getting rid of Dedicated servers and adopting a new system they say will make it friendlier and easier for players like it is on Consoles, its almost like them saying Screw you PC gamers, get on the console cause thats where are focus is. Forgetting the market share PC has over consoles. Why have they done this and should i cancel my pre order like many other gamers have as a boycott to Call of Duty and Activision ???
They're also making max players 9 vs. 9 for computers to match other systems. My friend got cheesed off at this and he does nothing but play cod... Now he's not going to get it and he's going to wait for Assassin's Creed 2 to come-out a week after. He also didn't like a certain killstreak (*spoiler*: Tactical Nuke), since it makes you automatically win the game.
But, yeah, Activision Billzard doesn't care too much about their PC gamers. About 60% of CoD 4 games play on the Xbox 360 anyway. If you really want to cancel your pre-order, you should. It'll show them that PC players won't take it when only a few people buy the PC version :P. You can discuss it on some forums, too, if you want. I like:
