windows server drive mapping

windows 2003 server drive mapping?
I am a 2003 server newbie in every way. I am trying for the first time to setup clients of the server to auto map and mount drives and drive letters. I know this is done with vbs scripts, normally. I was wanting to know if anyone had any good examples of the scripts or if it was possible to do any other way, and if so how.
I have been told that you can use policy editor to do the trick, but I have never seen how this is done.
Thanks of any info or resources

Usually policy editor just instructs the computer to run a script at logon. It doesn't have to be a .vbs script; a .bat file will do just fine if that's what you are comfortable with. A good place to start for script info is here:

Alternatively, you can use the Profile tab under the user's property page to specify a home folder or a login script to run.
