Now, enter the email address from which you want to post the entries to your site. Then, go to the bottom of the same page and enter your email account settings. Now, click on “Update Options†and click on “Test Configâ€. If you get any problem or error, then check the email address which you have entered.

Now, Postie is ready for the use, but you have to enable the UNIX command which regularly checks for the new mail messages. In the Server Configuration tool, click on Cron Jobs tool and then click on create a new job. Then, paste the below text in the given field for WordPress to check for the new mails for every 5 minutes:

Now, whenever you send a mail from your email address, whatever Subject you have used will be used as Title of the Post and whatever the body you enter in your email will be considered as the Body of the Post.
