windows xp server service missing
Have to install IIS Server on my Windows XP OS..?
Hello..
i want to install IIS Server on my pc and i have Windows XP
service pack2 CD... i am following the steps like going to
add/remove captions in the control panel and selecting the IIS
server on it.. when i click next it starts copying and tells that
the some of the files like stax mem.dll and admemxs.dll file is
missing but actually it is present and i re-inserted my
installation CD and specified the path and also i downloaded some
files but still it is not copying infact it is not detecting the
CD and not copying any files... plsss any ones knows whats wrong
with this ... plssss let me know if any one knows..
You don't need the service pack 2 CD - you should already have service pack 2 installed as it came out years ago. If you don't, simply use Windows Update.
