windows server phone activation
when i try to activate my windows xp prof , it shows unable to connect to activation server?
the exact message it shows is " unable to establish a connection with the activation server. please check your network settings and confirm that you are able to connect to the internet , then try again"
this happens even though i am already connected to the internet and the phone number it gives for activation in india doesnt work
please help me
Don't activate Windows XP Professional by an internet connection. Disconnect from the internet and the Activation Wizard should dial a telephone number instead. You need a modem to do this and the modem should be connected to a phone jack.
