dell server deals

I'm looking to buy a new laptop can anyone advise me on the best one to buy?
The laptop I purchase must have wi-fi, be light weight, fast internet. It's primary use will be to check a great deal of email, word processing (using both Word Perfect and MS Word). Screen size isn't an issue also the person that will be using it is very heavy handed and has a record for destroying the built in keyboard so I need a laptop that is durable. This laptop will also need to be able to connect to the server at the office with no problems. Oh yeah the sound and the video are important also. I prefer to stick with the brand names I trust like HP, Intel, Cosair, ATI, ASUS, Western Digital, Dell, Gateway, and Seagate. I don't need to go as high as i7 for the CPU but i5 or even i3 is fine. I don't need a TB but no less than 500GB. I don't know where laptops are with SATA but I would like it to be SATA compatible (for future upgrades). Thanks for your help and let me know if you need more details.
Let the heavy handed person pay for a few lap tops or repairs and they will lighten up. LOL
