AMD Motherboard Suggestions?
I've been looking around for an AMD AM2 or AM2+ motherboard that supports RAID 5. Something cheap and basic.
My specifications:
- RAID 5
- AM2 for Athlon 64 X2
- prefer no integrated video/audio
- PCI express x16 slot
- any RAM type (getting new RAM)
- support atleast 4 SATA HDD's
- 1GB LAN speed
- minimum 2 PCI slots
- And Micro ATX factor
I'm pretty much looking to build a quick and dirty little home server /NAS. And I did think about using a RAID controller card, but i decided against it. And determined RAID 5 is what i want to use.
I'm using these specifications because i already have a bunch of spare parts that i'm gonna use on it.
Any ideas?
This is my current option. Just seeing if there is anything better for a cheap price. Under $100.

The motherboard you've specified with the newegg link isn't micro atx.
