how could our company but a server in so we can regulate what internet sites employees go to?
when i worked for the "big company", we had a server in place that regulated what sites employees could go to while in the office.
i think our IT staff used software from CA that updated daily with a list of sites that were not allowed - for imployees to go to while on the company internet connection
we have a small start up company w 20 employees and already our band with is full. we use the internet to up load and download ggraphic files - high res pdf s so we need all our band width
anyone have a suggestion for how we can put in a low cost server to filter where our people are allowed to go on the internet. the software we had at the big company also provided reports on where employees were going. and yes, when we first installed this we had people gambling on line and downloading all kinds of pporn into there office machines.
help please and thanks in advance
