How do I repair an NTDLR error?

I am aware that the NTDLR is missing error is a boot failure. It was a stupid mistake on my part. I reinstalled Windows XP on my secondary drive and I have Windows server 2008 on a seperate partition. After I installed XP Pro the boot menu for Server was gone probably the boot record was replaced with XP. I tried to make the Server partition active and it screwed up the XP partition, now it's completely screwed up. I tried to use the recovery console but, theres 3 drives with Windows and secondly i'm prompted for an administrative passward which I never set, I press enter and nothing works. I can't even go into safe mode. Again it was a totally stupid mistake on my part. I really don't want to format the entire drive.Any suggestions?

Your 2008 partition is probably hosed, and you'll need to reinstall it no matter what.

Here is a good resource for dual booting 2k8 an XP.

server ip lookup

server ip lookup

could anybody give an explanation of this error i received when i send a message in outlook express?

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected email address was "________". Subject: 'test', Account: 'pop.isp.com', Server: 'smtp.isp.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: "550 5.7.1......Relaying denied. IP Name lookup failed(203.87.182.122)", Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79.

This problem happens because your version of Outlook Express is set up to use Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which yor ISP does not use.

i am giving example of Tiscali ISP, you wud need to check for these with your ISP or check your account info for details.

To fix this problem:

Open Outlook Express, and click Tools
Then click on Accounts
Then click on your Tiscali connection and click Properties
Then click Advanced
On this screen remove the checks from the boxes This server requires a secure connection for both Outgoing mail (SMTP) and Incoming mail (POP3).
Bear in mind that you should be using a dial-up connection number prefixed with 1470 and that the outgoing mail server is smtp.tiscali.co.uk

You will then be able to collect your mail.
