How can I find a software development job working for the (U.S.) government (including military organizations)?
I am a software developer with 5 years experience working with Microsoft technologies (.net, sql server). I'd like to find more interesting work than creating web sites and desktop applications. I've checked some of the government job websites, but none list software development jobs. Surely the government has in-house software development?
usajobs.gov is the official government site for all federal jobs. Unfortunately the US Gov is not in the business of software development. If things are created they are contracted out. (former SES US Fed/DC...retired IBMer)
