server 2003 sp3 iso
trying to install windows xp on dell with server 2003. HELP?
I have Server 2003 installed on my dell, I had prevriously xp, but got corrupted and happned to have server 2003 so I put it on there. I am trying to put xp back on ther i downloaded a xp sp3 of microsoft, and burned as iso image, i cant get the computer to boot from cd, i dont know what to do what am I doing wrong here, help
i did that, on boot priority, as 1st being cd-rom. it just keeps booting server . am i not download the right thing, or the right way. i need the installiation boot disk for xp, not sure where or if i can get that. I download xp home edition sp3 .iso, would that work
yes your problem is that you havent set your cd drive as your first boot device.
to do this press f2 on startup you are now in your bios... you should see a tab with boot devices somewhere.. just change the primary boot device to cd and you should be able to reinstall xp..
