I'll assume the anticipated load is pretty light, since you plan on hosting the site from your own office. If that's the case, any old PC will do. There's no need to stress about specifications. You can repurpose a retired desktop machine, or buy a modestly-configured new PC.
If you're expecting a lot of traffic, or if you have a resource-intensive web site, I strongly suggest you consider a dedicated server with a managed hosting company such as Rackspace.
