what are the pre employment requirements for being a food service provider (food server)?
A friend of mind wants a job at an adult day health care center, but she doesn't know what qualifications she needs to work there, serving food to the elderly.
That's something they would probably tell her at the time she applies. For instance, if she needs to take a food handling safety training course before starting work, they would tell her that. And, if she got hired, they'd almost certainly make the arrangements for her to take the course.
For now, her best bet is to get her application (and her face) in front of the people doing the screening and hiring, and see where things go. She shouldn't let ignorance of the requirements stop her from talking to them or putting in an application.
