PS3 Media Server with Windows 7...How Can I make it work?
Ive used the program for a long time now...recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 and it stopped working...It says " PS3 has not been found. Is it on? You can also check traces and/or configuration, or also the debug.log file"...My router has PF enabled (it worked with the same router and VISTA)...Network Discovery IS enabled...I have no idea what else to do.
I tried your method Alex A and still no luck.
you have to have to use the media player sharing settings to set this up... it's different in windows seven, but it works if you go to >>Control PanelNetwork and InternetNetwork and Sharing CenterAdvanced sharing settings
From there, you can change the media streaming options. click the button labeled "allow all" now all people on your (hopefully secure) network can access your computer's media.
